Royal King Hanbok Rental for Korean 1st Birthday Party Event

I have been watching a lot of Korean historical dramas lately and one that I recently watched is "Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds." Actor Park Bo Gum stars in it and throughout the drama, he looks stunning in all of his hanbok wear! The blue one he wears reminded me of the Royal King Hanbok that we have available for rent (Size 1-2). Okay, it's just a little similar. :)

We are happy to announce that Korean baby dol rings are being offered again at littleseouls.com. The rings are available in 1 don or 1/2 don. 1 don is 3.75 grams and 1/2 don is 1.875 grams in weight.

In Korea, it is a long held tradition to give gold rings to a babies on their 1st birthday - dol party. The gold symbolizes good health and fortune in life. The idea is that when the baby becomes an adult, he/she can melt the gold or sell it for money. However, most Koreans end up keeping it as a keepsake as it holds special cultural value.

Hello! I know it's been awhile since we blogged! Thank you for still following us! We really appreciate it! We wanted to let you know that we merged littleseouls.com and littleseoulsparty.com back together again unto one site: littleseouls.com. We hope that you will find the new website more user friendly. You no longer have to go to two sites to order!

You will notice that we have made some changes to our business - the most significant being that we now offer digital files for dol (first birthday) invites, banners and doljabi boards. Unfortunately, we no longer offer printing services anymore on these personalized party banners, invitations, and boards. Esther, who handles all the design and printing, is working reduced hours at Little Seouls, so we unfortunately had to make adjustments.  I know some of you still prefer printed products, so we do offer a limited selection of non-personalized doljabi boards and banners that we can print and ship out to you. You will find this under "party supplies."

This year will mark 8 years of us being in business! Each year has brought on different challenges and we hope you will continue to support us so that we can continue on for severals years to come.

Little Seouls Party featured on Amy Atlas!

We're so excited to be featured on Amy Atlas' blog!   We created a semi-custom design for Anne's son Toby who is half Korean and half Chinese.  She really loved the persimmon design and wanted to incorporate both cultures in the design.  We made the banner, invitations, party tags, raffle tickets and doljabi board. The end result is so adorable!  You can also see more images of his party at Korean1stBirthday.
