Koreans marketing Descendants of the Sun children's clothing!

The hit Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun is so popular right now that Korean internet stores are selling children's military style clothing. For example, the clothing worn by the kids below was labeled "Yoo Si Jin" style! Yoo Si Jin (played by Song Joong Ki) is the main character of this Korean drama. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend!

We are happy to announce that Korean baby dol rings are being offered again at littleseouls.com. The rings are available in 1 don or 1/2 don. 1 don is 3.75 grams and 1/2 don is 1.875 grams in weight.

In Korea, it is a long held tradition to give gold rings to a babies on their 1st birthday - dol party. The gold symbolizes good health and fortune in life. The idea is that when the baby becomes an adult, he/she can melt the gold or sell it for money. However, most Koreans end up keeping it as a keepsake as it holds special cultural value.

100th Day Baek-il (백일) Hanbok Rentals

Korean 100th day birthday (Baek-il) continues to be favored tradition among Koreans and Korean Americans alike. One hundred days after a baby is born, Koreans have a small feast to celebrate the baby's survival and health. The celebration is usually held at home and is less elaborate in comparison to the Korean 1st birthday (Dol) party. Rice cakes, red bean cakes and other traditional Korean food is usually provided.

Little Seouls has several 100th day hanbok rentals available for boy or girl!

Since they are 100th day hanboks, the sizing is equivalent to US Size 3 to 6 months.
